Ryan Welsh, owner

Prior to forming Shades Classic Window Coverings and Interiors, Ryan Welsh worked with Arranged By Design.  This experience highlighted for him the importance of window coverings as an integral part of a room’s design.  Ryan has a trained eye when it comes to shades, blinds, shutters and custom drapery.  He can provide solutions for anything from light and climate control to privacy concerns.

Ryan devotes his full attention to every job.  “I love meeting new people and working with them,” he says. “It’s a personal experience. Customers are inviting you into their homes.” Ryan is a certified Hunter Douglas installer, further reinforcing his extensive product knowledge as well as installation and motorization skills.

Ryan attended the Virginia Military Institute and has been in the Upstate since 2002 with his wife and daughter.
